Mitchell David Lopate was an adjunct writing/composition/literature, public speaking, and business English instructor and elementary school teacher in the U.S. and China--despite once having terrible stage fright. He does stand-up comedy about it now....  He is an international psychological astrology advisor, a creative writer, an academic-educational support consultant, a music journalist, a metaphysical and holistic counselor, university professor of business administration, and an editor for a banking regulations company.  He prefers doing all that at once. Or at least, most of it. It keeps him managing his ADD. (However, it's gaining on him. He once channeled Groucho Marx. That wasn't so bad--at least he wasn't asked by Groucho for a cigar. Isaac Newton, however, wanted a poem written about astrology and Halley's Comet. O. Henry also asked for a one-act play about grifting. There's also a 21st-century modern Greek myth.
